Geshe Tsultrim is the abbot of Gaden Chang Chub Chöling temple in Montreal. Geshe-la was born in Kham, Tibet and became a monk at the age of twelve at Gaden Jangtse monastery. Completing the study of all the divisions of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy, he was awarded the highest degree of Geshe Lharampa. He also received an Acharya (Masters) degree at the Varanasi Sanskrit University in India. Moreover, he gained qualification in Vajrayana Buddhism after studying for one year at the Gyumed Tantric College. Geshe-la teaches at many Buddhist temples and monasteries in India, Tibet, Europe and North America. He has been responsible for the education of many monks, guiding them from a young age to maturity. Geshe-la is a very dedicated and compassionate teacher.

Ven. Zawa Tulku Lobsang Dorje Tenzin Yarphel Rinpoche was born in India, in 1978. Recognized as the reincarnation of Zawa Geshe Rinpoche, he became a ordained monk at Ganden Shartse monastery in 1982. There, he studied buddhist philosophy until 1998. He then embarked upon an international tour, teaching at numerous Dharma centers. In addition to his dedication to teaching Buddhism, he is also a master of the construction of sand mandalas and ritual arts. His specialities include healing and purification rituals. He is renowned for his kindness and pure morality.

Born in India in 1978, Gen Lobsang Tashi became a monk in Ganden Jangtse monastery at the age of eight. He continues his education in the traditional subjects of the monastic cirriculum. Gen-la is assistant to Ven. Zawa Tulku Rinpoche, as well as our resident Tibetan language teacher and translator.
